The Big G ranch is a working ranch located about 30 miles south of Brownwood, Tx.
We have several cultivated fields containing crops such as oats, winter wheat, haygrazer, etc.
  We usually graze several dozen head of cattle on the ranch, so these fields serve as feed.
We have installed a significant amount of 5 wire cross fencing to keep the cattle away from
the deer hunting woods (which significantly increases our chances of seeing a big buck
during the deer season).  We hunt from very comfortable box blinds on towers and have
various food plots and timed feeders located throughout the wooded areas to attract the deer.

The original dwelling that was on site when I purchased the property is about 50 years old. 
Although it looks very rough on the outside, it is warm, dry and comfortable on the inside!
It has served us very well during the many months it has taken us to finish out the new house.
It took many hours of work since we started with a shell and had to add all the interior walls,
insulation, electrical wiring, plumbing, sheetrock, taping, bedding, texturing, paint, floor covering,
wallpaper, trim, etc.  Check back often as we will post new pictures as our project nears
completion.
