- Picture of the Week -
This old mesquite tree is located only a few feet from our campfire.  Unfortunately, it has died and we were forced to take it down the day after this picture was taken.  Since there is nothing in the picture to compare its size to, you can't really appreciate the size of this huge tree.  Its trunk is nearly 30" across just above ground level!
